Description
The Account Supervisor, in partnership with a Creative Director, is the leader of Corporate Marketing Group’s overall relationship and work with his/her designated business unit. He/she is the chief architect and director of all of CMG’s marketing programs with his/her business unit and is also the primary source of strategic marketing advice, competitive intelligence and new marketing ideas, as desired or requested by the business unit. The Account Superior leads CMG’s efforts to evaluate and streamline procedures and process within and across departments and groups of the firm and is the chief human and financial resource allocator for his/her team.
PRINCIPAL RESPONSBILITIES:
Develops and maintains strong relationships with senior level business unit and senior level support group members (Creative, Production, MIS, Legal) and influence and build consensus among those individuals, as needed. These include business unit heads and their direct reports and support group heads and their direct reports.
Develops and creates overall marketing strategy and programs in collaboration with senior level business unit executives. Oversee the proper planning, management and execution of these programs by junior members of their staff.
Evaluates the need for and allocate internal and external resources required to successfully execute marketing programs + hiring/training/coaching/motivating junior team members, as necessary.
Evaluates and creates new processes/procedures/infrastructure within their teams, across CMG and across different TRP departments. Influence and build consensus among senior level executives in other groups and departments to get new procedures and processes accepted and adopted by others.
Provides consultative marketing and business advice, as desired or requested by their business unit.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- College degree and 6 years of related work experience, or
- Associate degree and 8 years related work experience, or
- High School diploma/equivalent and 10 years related work experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
- Strong marketing background experience
Strong understanding of the financial services industry and the competitive landscape - Ability to develop new ideas solutions to achieve business objectives
- Keen sense for organizational design, process development and enhancement
- Possesses the ability to build and maintain strong working relationships. Ability to influence and build consensus with senior level executives
- Ability to prioritize and negotiate
- Strong planning, management, leadership and coaching and motivational skills
- Must be proactive
- Should have some knowledge of the creative and production processes
