Primary Purpose of the Position

This position focuses on supporting our retirement plan sponsors, working in a fast paced environment where action is time critical and information is confidential. This position must effectively manage day-to-day responsibilities and support of client communications tools and sponsor products and services to ensure client satisfaction and emphasize Retirement Plan Service's (RPS) commitment to providing world-class service.

Principal Responsibilities

1. Independently performs all necessary set-up, research and testing to make sure client access is established correctly with the various products. Establishes client access to confidential plan level and participant data. Provides direction to Enterprise Security when needed and works with Relationship Management, New Business, New Services, Operations and clients to research and resolve issues. Routinely performs reviews of testing criteria and implements changes when needed. High exposure and risk involved if client access is not established properly.

2. Monitors utilization of sponsor products and communications tools. Creates reports that will be used to track and monitor usage and develop future enhancements. Develops surveys using appropriate survey methods to help gather feedback on sponsor products and communication tools. Analyzes data and trends to help identify new opportunities.

3. Monitors the plan sponsor mailbox, and other social networking tools and responds to clients as necessary and appropriate. Submits client communication jobs in the various project information systems so that they are properly tracked and reviewed by various departments including legal, copy, design, and production. Keeps track of content that needs to be refreshed/updated on the Plan Sponsor Resource Center and other social networking tools.

4. Manages registration database for conferences and communicates necessary information to clients, associates and vendors regarding attendance information.

Qualifications

  • College degree, or Associate degree and 2 years related work experience, or High school diploma/equivalent and 3 years related work experience required
  • Strong analytical skills required
  • Strong communication skills – verbal and written
  • Client service oriented
  • Solid negotiation skills
  • Ability to multitask
  • Detail oriented
  • Ability to collaborate, gather data and make a decision (quickly if necessary)
  • Must show enthusiasm and the desire to work with clients and in a team environment
  • College degree preferred
  • Some project experience preferred
  • Proficient in PC utilization, especially Microsoft tools, database management and Web tools used to monitor usage preferred
  • Prefer experienced project manager
  • Knowledge of RPS Business preferred
  • Comfortable interacting with clients and prospects
